Just found out that Payday became free to play for the weekend, so if youve been wanting to possibly try the game out, well this will prob be your best option for now. Also the game will be half off til Sunday.
This game is a lot of fun & you get to unlock some great weapons as you increase in what they called reputation. The more money you get from each bank heist, the better chance you get of increasing your reputation. Along with getting to the next reputation, you get a full bill of health while in game as well as your ammo becomes fully stocked as well, so another really great feature.
I personally cant wait for them to release more maps so that we can try newer experiences. My personal favorites are the apt scene & the 1st state bank (very first map). For those real hardcore gamers, you may want to try your luck at the slaughterhouse. Ive only tried that map once & found that its just not for me.
One more thing; this game is best played online. The sp co-op part doesnt work very well. You have to do all the objectives yourself, which makes it a huge pain. Sometimes the AI doesnt know certain emergency issues (like if youve been shot down) & that they would rather shoot @ SWAT than try to save u.
