Looking for friends

Ive made a couple of post since iv'e joined eGO but most of them have been about getting help and as the title suggest i feel as i haven't really gotten to make to many friends or get to know many my of my fellow eGO brothers and sisters aside from the ones that have helped me get accommodated with getting used to the site and forums and i just wanna reach out and meet some folks(i know there are ventrillo meetings i can attend but i missed the last 2 recent ones and i just wanna make up for lost time)so if any one would like to hang out in tf2 or just wanna make friends like me pm me or add me over steam.ps i'm a little shy at first but im not afraid to talk :closedeyes:

Some tips:
- Be in Vent and hop into a channel of w/e game you're playing and say hi
- Play on the servers and when you get in say hi all or something like that
- Get involved in division stuff such as fun nights or w/e they're called for TF2. You can also show up to any other division fun nights such as the Call of Duty Division, we like new faces. Our fun nights are Friday at 9pm EST so if you have CoD4 come and play

Erebos pretty much covered the basics.

A few things I'd like to add is that you should try posting in the TF2 Division forum. Comment on the videos and stories, post your own, etc. People occasionally hold small contests with cool prizes in which you need to dominate someone or get a cool screenshot.

Also, information on TF2 events is usually updated in this thread, as well as the Calendar (located on the left of this website). We have an event tomorrow (Friday) night at 10PM CST, so you should definitely join us then. Events are a lot of fun, and occasionally a prize is handed out.

You must be looking at the wrong times. I think you're a good several hours ahead of my time, so that's probably why. I see people on there from 5PM to 12AM CST, usually. (I think CST is GMT -6?)

I'm usually on there on Friday and weekend nights (about 10PM CST). And it's my home sever, so what can I say? I'd love to play with more people.

I had the same thoughts and feelings when I joined up. But as everyone said, join vent and get yourself noticed. jump into conversations or join servers with people in them and make small talk while DOMINATING them
