Getting a game on steam

So yesterday I tried to buy a game off of steam and it was only $20. I had enough money on the card and everything was working fine. I put all the right information down. My card was accepted as a valid card and then when it was ready to make the order final it said I couldn't buy the game. I checked my email and I was sent a letter saying my card is declined from steam but when I called the card company up today they said my card isn't declined. Any help? Also this happened when I tried to get a random game just to test to see if the problem is for only one game.

EDIT: Also I tried another card and it said the same thing. Tried to buy the game using my paypal account and the same error was given.

Hey Bay,

If I were you I'd hop onto the STEAM forums via the steam website and get ahold of one of the administrators through there or even do a quick search on their forums to see if anyone has had the same problem.
