An update to Day of Defeat: Source has been released. The update will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Fixed the HUD radar background disappearing after level change

I thought they were going to introduce a shotgun, flamethrower, drive-able vehicles, purchase-able equipment, and an updated engine.

Yes, it also has dinosaurs... and that is obviously not a plus.
