The jitters you guys are experiencing seem to be a map specific problem (cp_blackmesa_final) and like you said, the map change fixes it. Let me know if this becomes a common problem.

i have bad lag, its probably my fault, but, i have worse lag than ever on the eGO servers, but i think the lag is because i play on a laptop, and not a gaming laptop

yes, it was preeeeeety bad today for me too..

it's not lag, it's jerkyness...

A map change fixed it, it happened when the other 2 servers (2fort and valve maps) were full but after "map change" it fixed itself. I tried the other two maps and they were working fine

100+ fps? i wish that was my lag. on a good day i get 19+ fps

Is black mesa a non-valve map? Could be map optimization issues that the creator did not do.

Ive been getting HUGE TERABAD lag spikes on foundry. Its so bad, when I charge with the targe n charge it feels like I charge twice. I end my charge and it pulls me back to the begining of my charge and does it again...I hate it when it gets that bad. It doesnt do it all the time, but when it does its horrible.

Tf2 doesn't even play for me much anymore. I get consistent 2-10 second lock ups which cause me to alt tab to try and get it going again. I usually crash after the 4th or 5th lock up. It seems I get the NVIDIA driver stops responding fun.


RIP TF2, you ment a lot to me when you worked.

Well I had lots of those when I had SLI and one of my GPUs was dying.... TF2 seems more demanding to some GPU subsystem than some newer games I had crashes only in TF2 then it started crashing on more stuff after a few months... maybe your card is getting old?

I built a new rig after Christmas. I have the 1.5gb 580 and all the trimmings. The game plays worse now that I have a better computer.

What CPU? make sure to DISABLE multicore rendering
