I'm sorry to report that all TF2 servers, with the exception of Foundry, have started to take a nose dive in ranking (yes this includes 2Fort). We must save the servers! Help them TF2 division, you're their only hope!

I don't know how much 2Fort can be helped, apart from all you admins awake at 5 - 12 AM EST getting on and making sure the server never empties!

But Valve maps, and especially Blackmesa could use some more players, and maybe some ideas about how/why they empty (and of course how to fix said problems)

Now don't forget, we don't want to abandon Foundry entirely or it'll start going down in rank too. Even with it going up in rank, I've often found myself as the only admin on, which means that before and after I leave, there're no admins

Here's to hoping the server ranks don't die in a hole!

I noticed it happening to Valve Maps but I had no idea it was happening to ALL our servers.

We're doing better than ever anyhow, how are we dropping?

Since nobody joins Mesa anymore, I now have a habit of going to Foundry and killing pubs lol. We had 2x "quick fill Mesa" yesterday and it was still empty. Well the first time it did fill but at some point everyone started leaving and the server never recovered. I went back to Foundry eventually. Another quick fill message hits after few hours, I come back, and we only managed to get like 5-7 people playing. Proceed to go back to Foundry.

The quick fills aren't helping imo, we are doing them so often that they are losing their effect, and the promise of promoting e's to eG's faster and eG's to eGO's faster isn't helping because leadership says they promote e's to eG's as fast as possible.

As a side note: 2Fort is not doing badly, it's just not doing as well as it was, and is therefore dropping in rank (though it did stay full all night last night, which is an improvement!)

And I do believe I've head people say that we should fill servers by their rank

so fill 2Fort if it's empty, then Foundry, then Valve maps, and then Blackmesa.

(Since the first three have quickplay, they can be filled much quicker than Blackmesa and should also stay full without mostly eGO members playing on them. Blackmesa never has too many pubs playing on it)
