Is there any reason for this? I only ask because it really kills rushes. With 44 people it is hard to play. I usually sit and wait until its 15v15 or so. With now 52 people in the server it is very hard to rush anywhere and be successful. 2 Machine guns in b and long a make them impossible to rush. Any one else agree or disagree

inb4: play elsewhere

I agree completely. I don't see why m249 is allowed but AWP is restricted. Also I tend to not play our own servers as often because there is just too many people to enjoy playing. I typically play servers with 12 people average and 18 max. I also don't really like dust2 so I tend to stay in office or highschool. Been spending a lot of time lately in rotation servers however.

If I wanted to pay to host a rotation server would someone else admin it/ make it part of the eGO network? Serious inquiry here.

Just wait till you are the last one alive, that's what I do. Rushes are impossible due to 40 flashes and 20 nades coming at you.

Our dust2 server is one of the top 10 CSS servers in the world. Its understandable that your frustrated with the amount the server lets in. However we try to let everyone play, and if a server is 100% full (which back with the old slotting it was most of the time) players cannot join. With these 4 extra slots, that many more people can play on our server and help us move it to the #1 spot! 2 extra players a side isn't going to change the game much. Also, most of the worlds most popular CSS servers slot over 60 players.

I really just want a 18 man rotation server but being in vent I heard discussions that they have been tried and they weren't very popular so we took them down.

I haven't played the server when it's full yet so I'm yet to see what it's like.

Same as it was with 44 total slots, really. Imo, there isn't much of a difference. A well coordinated rush could win most rounds then, and it can win most rounds now regardless of people with m249. The entire point of a rush is to get in and secure a foothold before those with a m249 get in a spammable position. Its doable, but if people falter the rush will fail. That's how its worked since forever.

Dust 2 is a very popular server with 52 servers, we maximize out rating. The server is always full and with the 4 more slots it lets more people who want to play, play. Dust 2 will only get bigger so learn to win.

I'm soooo glad the buy time is shortened! I think it's like 15 seconds now or something like that. That will make rushing short and mid a lot less difficult because there will be less nade spammers on ct side. That being said I have noticed when there is a lot of activity the lag spikes are really tough. I have a really good connection and before I would see these lag spikes but now it's getting even worse... I hope this issue goes away. I have 8g ram, good vid card, and good internet connection, I shouldn't be having these issues.

Crypto it's time for us to upgrade our computer. =). 52 players is not a big deal. The map's principle and objective is not difficult to understand. It's either you live or die the round. My main concern is managing those who wants to ruin the play time (e.g. trolls, racist, disrepectful to admins, etc.. )

If I can put my two sense in here, I havent been on dust2 since the 52 slot happened, but its hard enough trying to get the bomb to be planted with the time we had, with the 44 slots. 52 is going to make that even harder to do everything. All they are going to do is camp on both sides, not just cts.You need time to pick off people, and strategize you can't do that with the small amount of time you are given. Is there anyway for the round time to be extended? Even just 30 seconds more?

Server crashed earlier when reach 52 in dust2 source right moment. I think 50 should be good or go back to 48 people max...

i would love a 18-24 man rotation server with no start money... old school lol, no restrictions
