I am not sure about headsets, but for mice I absolutely love my Logitech G500

The two you have picked out are both great. I have owned both and loved em both. Great stuff. Just when I build a new PC I always buy new gear as well so I no longer use them. A good alternative however would be a steelseries 7h and a steelseries sensei.
