Editing demos!

Hey guys I need a little help from people who know what to do. I got a few demos that I want to edit, they are really long and I was wondering how I can cut out the pieces I want from them and make a video. Can I do this on the demo menu (shift+f2) or do I need to do this with another program? There are really cool frags in some of them that I want to cut out into shorter clips if that is possible. Any help will be much appreciated<3.

I'm not really an expert on the subject, but look at a list of demo-related console commands. I'm pretty sure there's one that lets you convert .dem's into normal video files. Then I suppose you could use a video editor to cut and move pieces of the video.

I'd suggest converting the file and editing it with a video editing software.

If you have windows you should have windows movie maker i think u can use that
