Stuggling to kill.

I'm currently leveling a Sith Warrior and I'm really finding it hard to kill enemy's in the questing area, I've only been doing the main story line so I'm worried that I might be under leveled?

Is it important to do side quests? At the moment I'm level 11 and I have to kill level 14 enemy's and I'm only hitting 23 - 40...

Please help.

I would do at least some of the side quests, and make sure at that level to do the bonus quests too, not only are they neat story fillers, but also great XP that can help you level faster while still enjoying the story of the game. There is more to the story than just the class quest line.

Another good source of XP is PvP, even at level 11 you can still be pretty useful and get some great XP and gear. Likewise with the space missions when you get your ship around level 15-17. Jump on vent when you play, there's usually someone on during the normal hours of the day who can give you some advice!

Yea, I'm going to go back and do some side quests to see if I can catch up with the level's.

I tried PvP once I don't really like it to be honest, It would also help that everytime I want to play I dont have to re-install the launcher... it keeps coming up with " The Launcher is being updated please wait. "

I've looked on the forums and done everything they have said and still nothing..

Well yes the PvP can be a bit "Dry" at low levels but its is a fast suppliment to power leveling, the lvl 20 and 40 pvp sets are quite good, Theres also the valor rank that your gonna need endgame for the last 2 pvp sets 50 and 60 valor respectivly.

If your having trouble early game yes go back and do missions you skipped and make sure even your companion is very well geared, makes life ALOT easier.

I've switched side's to republic and since have been doing side missions, all is going well I leveled up faster then my empire character and I'm going to continue on playing my Trooper/Commando and I just need a guild invite now

LoL I play a Jugg and leveling wasnt that bad but i wont lie...I made a commando and leveling them is so much easier.

People often forget that characters/toons stand on a three legged stool.

Build - class/skills/abilities

Equipment - armor/weapons and items that boost stats, skills, and abilities (including stims).

Playstyle - how you leverage your skills and abilities and minimize your weaknesses.


I know...it's kind of obvious but it's worth considering each of the three legs and asking yourself if your character is getting the most it can out of that leg.

Yes well I'm really enjoying playing this trooper at the moment but when I decide to level another class I'll be sure to consider all of these things before I play, but last time I played a character I didn't check off these things and found it really hard to play.

you mite try a healing class. that way you can have a decent geared tank companion and just sit and heal it till the elite bosses in some of the quests are dead.

As a trooper I have a tank companion, I would just need to re-spec.
