How to edit your maps using Garrys Mod
I've been googling this like crazy, it seems gmod 9 used to have an export feature that exported changes to a map, you could then load them into hammer.

That thread is from 2006, now it seems there isn't any feature like that at all. Am I missing something?

Your thoughts?
UPDATE:
So I went to the facepunch forums and they linked me to some interesting stuff. http://facepunch.com/threads/757458
That plugin seems to be the solution, but I haven't tested it yet as my PSU exploded...
Other reading material includes some native valve functionality to edit the map with the engine rather then hammer: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Wc_update_entity
Note that wc_update_entity is now hammer_update_entity.
I'm not yet a mapper but desperate to get into it. The idea of making a basic map shell and then editing the detail in garrysmod is so very, very appealing =D
UPDATE 2: That plugin does work and is probably pretty useful!
