A Big Problem

I sign in and hit play to be greeted by this lovely message, and since bioware's support is.... well not the best I thought I would ask for help here. If you can do anything please help me it would be very nice and helpful .

I had the same problem, I just re-installed and then installed the launcher off the website again, but also try the SWTOR forums that bioware set-up their really helpful as well.

I think they also have a repair installer as well you could try

I had to reinstall the game to get rid of this one. The repair tool didn't fix it for me. Although, there have been reports of it working for others.

Yea when I first downloaded the game, and then logged in and pressed play the whole client crashed after 2 seconds. Did a quick search on the forums and just found out that I had to re-install the launcher and all my problems we're solved

Just curious, try running the FixLauncher application in your SWTOR Directory.

I tried repair launcher and i also reinstalled nothing

Have you had any recent hardware changes?

Did a little reading up on this error most forums ( including retail ) point to hardware needing driver updates or .NET frame having to be updated.

There was also a link on retail for you to do a directx diagnostic to look for errors there.

i tried some .net updates and they didn't help and my video driver was already updated
