I was wondering(everyone might've thought this was something else) if it was possible to not have a Division at all, and if you're friends with me on steam, yiu might have noticed I've put 24 hours in on CSS in the last 3 weeks, thats faster than i did with TF2, which is my Div, but if you're like me, you get bored of a game after a while, and move on and occasionally come back to that game, and in my situation, TF2 is that game, which i increasingly grow inactive in, and increasingly active in CSS, my main reason is load times, and server friendliness, im not saying that our TF2 servers aren't friendly, im just saying that the CSS areas seem more, i dunno, easier to play on, and the admins could be a little more active on them but yeah, just wondering if its possible to not have any div, because if i had really did have a primary game, it wouldnt last long cause im a diversity player, yea
ps a lot of this thread will probs have nothing to do with the bulk of the opening, since im accidentally insulting the tf2 servers, so yea, wondering if an eGO could help me out on that

It is possible to not have a division at all. You would most likely never get promoted though, because promotions happen through individual divisions.

If you find yourself playing more CS:S and hang out with those guys more, it wouldn't hurt to switch over to them.

Hey Mr. Meepy,

The reason you have a division selected is so the leadership can know who they're kind of "responsible" for - it's where your promotions and recognition and so forth come from.

That said, it's definitely ok to float from game to game, while still designating your "main" game as your division. If you find yourself playing more CS:S, just let the CS:S leadership know that you're hanging around more in their area now, and also ping TF2 leadership and let them know you've switched.

And when you move on again, just let leadership know where you've gone. That way you don't miss out because nobody knows if they're the ones to be promoting you or not.

Hope that helps!

I appreciate what they said, but also remember the core of the eGO experience is contributing to a great family friendly atmosphere on all of our servers, and you don't need to be an admin to do that!

Our TF2 servers are great, and so are our CSS servers! I'm sure you help make our servers a friendlier place no matter where you play!

Yeh its best to stay at one place but since i have my admin already i play everywhere you can see it my award

I would recommend that you join the division that you play a lot of. With being a member of eGO, you are a member of every game / division that we support, but it's most important that you had one division set as primary so that you can be promoted as everyone else suggested.

Make sure to tell your current division leader(s) and your new division leader(s) that you're switching divisions and make sure that they're okay with it. Most times they are but it's always a good thing to give them a heads up.
