Great game, but harder to play then original dota. Lack of hero inventory and simple shop mechanic confuses me. Graphics are a great improvement to the original dota, and they honestly did a good job with making it feel like dota. Cant wait for techies to be put in the hero roster, and honestly, its an amazing game. Dota 2 is essientially an upgrade version of dota that is standalone, as dota was a custom map for Warcraft 3. Dota is based on Aeon of Strife from Starcraft, and many varients of dota have been made throughout the years. HoN is essientially dota with different hero names from what I have heard, but It probably has its own twist that it adds. LoL is heavily based on dota, but adds new mechanics and has an entirely different hero roster, although some heroes bear close resemblance to dota heroes. Overall if you like LoL or HoN you will probably enjoy playing dota 2 once you get used to the user interface.

I've been playing it. It's a good game, but some pretty bad hero's, like Bane, have been coming out for no reason.
