So... I thought it about time to buy a new PC. I'm currently running a 4-5 year old laptop, so anything's an improvement

In the final build, I probably won't go for the 2 screens, but I just wanted to see what you guys think. I'm fairly sure everything is compatible, but I could be wrong
What do you think? Need any tweaking? Got any cheaper prices?

Looks good to me. If you're planning on crossfire down the road, that PSU is great. If not, it's overkill. You could look for something in the 450W range, as long as it's also a quality unit. I also haven't heard anything about that case before, and tend to stay away from cooler master on personal preference but all the features look good.

Nice build. If you are looking to save a little money, you could go with an evga overclock gtx 460:

Both will have performance on par or over that of a standard gtx 560 (since the 560 is just an overclocked 460). The gtx 560 competes with the 6870, so you are getting similar performance at a better price. However, you are not getting the nice cooling system that the 6870 has, but the 460 is relatively cool and quiet (I have 2 in sli right now). Something to consider.

Also, if you do not plan on getting an aftermarket cpu cooler, then this cheaper corsair ram with tall heat spreaders would be okay:

However, I too would prefer the lower profile ones as to avoid interference with cpu heatsinks in the future, but something to consider.

Huck, you have benches of the 560 non-Ti matching a 6870? I'm looking at anandtech's bench and the 6870 is definitely the better card.

In amd favored games maybe, but they two trade blows just like any other comparable card:

6850-460
6870-560
6950-560 Ti
6970-570
6990-590

It depends on the games that will be played. And for the cost savings, to get similar performance out of the box is a win in my book.

Hmm, it looks fine. The only think I would suggest would be looking into a better graphics card. I know Nvidia 560 or 560 Ti's are pretty good. They run at like $200 (USD) on sale.

Swap out for a 460 and OC it

I run one machine with a 6950 and another with a 560TI, I usually dont do anything with AMD, but I for the 6950 on sale for a really good price. Both machines bench at around the same, but the TI tends to run much cooler (5-15 degrees) under the same draw, which is a big deal for how well the card is going to operate in the long run.

To be honest though, I would look at getting a 460 or a 550TI. The 460 is probably the most performance for cost you will get out of any card out right now.
