So since I'm not going to school right now or haven't found a job i was thinking of joining the military force but i haven't decided which one to join i was thinking of the United States Marine Corps or which do you recommend & if i do well i would like to join the Military police if i get that far

PS:is there any requirements to join these days i have no
crime records or drugs etc but i never got my GED if thats gonna do something

I'm not sure but i think you need a diploma or GED equivalent to join the military now.

as for what branch you said you wanted to be an MP. Also do you want to be career military or are you just doing it to fill the void and as an experience? what kind of job would you be interested in if not career military?

Either way my cousin was in teh army reserves as a MP, and he served two tours in Iraq, he enjoyed it

Well first off, seeing as how I tried to get myself into the Air Force Reserves (they dont have the job in my required field), it is required that you have either a HS Diploma or GED. In this case, you do have to search out to get a GED, esp if you're gonna get into the MC. Thats 1 thing they def dont beat round the bush bout.

You need to have a high school diploma.
I ship out in a month for basic training.

I do not recommend the marine corps. Instability, revenge and backstabbing out the wazoo. I've tango'd with them. Forget about it.

Army is probably one of the most reliable I've seen...so far.

Marines are good, a lot of my friends are in the marines.

My dad was in the military and participated a lot in their recon environment.

My grandpa served in the Army, he liked it as well.

It all depends on you, what kind of job you're looking for, etc.

Personally, I plan on joining the Marines again in 2013. They've been sending me letters and I've been seeing the recruiter. :P

There's a test they give you called the ASVAB. They give you one practice test and a real test. It determines if you're able to join the military forces, your job, and your qualifications.

Personally - I'm Air Force.

You do need -- as stated -- a ged or hs diploma.

But the air force, the marines, the army - they're all the same. its just sibling rivelry between them. I will say that I love my job and the air force. I never thought growing up that i'd actually be able to put hands on the jets that I have. Its amazing.

best of luck to whatever you decide to do.
