Should I join Counter Strike Division or Day of Defeat Division :confused1:?

I have both games and I really want to join an FPS division instead of Strat, but i can't decide which one~

It all depends on which game you like / play more. If you play Counter-Strike Source more then any other game, then choose CSS, same thing goes for your other games. Just remember, as a member of eGO, you can play any game that eGO supports but you must have one division set as primary. If you switch to CSS, or DODS, please alert your division leader(s) for Strat and the division leaders for the division you're joining.

I've always been a fan of the WW2 setting, therefore I reside in DoD:S for the most part, being a prt of a division doesn't restrict you to that game in any way. I've never actually had the time (or money) to pick up CS:S, but I hear it can be a lot of fun, either way both divisions are great and I'm sure you'll have loads of fun here in eGO.

Pick the one you play more as that division will decide if and when you'll get promoted. It's not like you're stuck in that division either. People's interests change so you're allowed to switch divisions when you decide to. Just don't make it feel like a spam attack by changing your divisions every day or week.

It probably depends on what form of game play you enjoy. Most of our servers CS games have a short time interval before reset and a victor is declared. I won't speak to jail as I have no clue what is going on there. Most DoD matches tend to be long drawn out stalemates unless one side or the other has really good communication and teamwork going on. There is definitely a different feel to the two games.

I would advise you to play one of the games for a week, and then the other for a week. Then decide which one you enjoyed the most.

As has been said above you may of course play any game in or out of eGO that you desire. That said, your best chance of receiving a promotion is to spend the majority of your time with the division that you choose.

I know myself, I change from time to time which I shouldn't do. I've got my, and no I'm not a girl, periods were I like to play TF2 constantly, while putting CS:S aside. I'm currently in the TF2 division but I'm pretty sure I'm going to move to the CS:S Division. It has more possibilities such as jail mode, 24/7 Dust, 24/7 Office and my favorite, 24/7 ITALY!! Soooo my advice is, is indeed the advice someone else already mentioned, pick a division which game you play mostly. My choice is based on my feeling, sometimes I'm really in the mood to teamplay and group up with all the whacky, crazy, extremely friendly TF2 players. But I also like to mess around in jail, with the knoweledge that I can go to any 24/7 server and play seriously, with headset on and curtains closed =)

If you're so much into FPS games, check out OP:X division. you might come to love RO2 and/or ArmA2. And feel free to contact any of OP:X member to help you out for starter.
