Red Orchestra 2 won't launch

Yo what's up all.

I have recently installed RO2 and it will not start.


I have had it installed previously and I have pretty much always had some problems but this time it won't even run.


It seems to start minimized, then crashes at splash screen.

I have verified my game cashe, deleted the config then verified again, changed launch options and resolution options in the config folders, reinstalled TWICE, changed directX and updated it, and a few other common"fixes" I have found on google.. Nothing.

It really upsets me how many threads on tripwires forums go unanswered for the same problems, and their fixes are mostly blunt and don't work.

Here is a screenshot of what happens. Never once has it made it to the main menu.

hmm do you have any additional programs running like xFire or Raptr because they are known for causing crashes and games not running. If not it would not hurt to close everything nonessential and then run RO2.
