Not everyone! My recon score is less than 2000 I'm pretty sure, and my time spent as recon isn't even visible on my class-time circle :thumbup1:

But yes I agree, snipers are the scourge of BF. Yes it's cool you get to shoot people from really far away, but most of them just go for kills rather than support their team...
As a sniper, your goals should be three-fold:
1. Cover your teammates as they advance on bases/mcoms
2. Cover bases when no one else is around
3. (only when snipers are out of control) Counter-snipe

Instead, recons usually devolve to:
1. Kill as many people as possible. "We have only 1 out of 7 bases? No problem, I'll just keep sniping since I'm contributing SO much to my team with 15 kills and 2 deaths..."

well you also have to consider if you are playing on normal or HC, normal mode traditionally has less ppl playing with sniper rifles because HC makes it very easy to get a lot of kills that way since its a 1 shot in that mode anywhere on the body
