$1200 Rig - How does it look?

Assembly of the computer has been completed and has been sent to QC.

WOOT. Just checked the order status and it seems the PC has finally been assembled! I'm estimating I may receive it by Friday next week if it ships out of Monday or Tuesday.

Once again thanks for all the help in the building process.
 
The rig just got here! The shipping only took TWO days. Can you believe that?

I'm installing games etc right now.
 
I finally got my first game installed - CS:S!

With my gaming laptop ($1200), I get less than playable FPS on max settings (around 30).

With this desktop on max settings I get 290 fps.

And that is only the beginning! Can't wait to see what it can do in newer games ;)

I just finished downloading Battlefield 3 and I downloaded Black Ops yesterday. I bought Black Ops for PC when it came out but my gaming laptop couldn't even handle it so I got a refund but they left the game on my steam account.

I can run Black Ops completely maxed out at 1080p locked in at 92 FPS. Battlefield 3 completely maxed out at 1080p with 50-70 FPS. I find it playable at 50-70 FPS but of course I could always bump down a few settings if necessary.

I plan on making videos in the next day benchmarking some popular games on it. I know it could be helpful to individuals planning on purchasing it. One thing that frustrated me was the lack of benchmarking videos because it is such a new card.

Holy hell it has been a long time. I've been extremely inactive for a very long time (mainly because I got a job and I am currently taking a rigorous school schedule) but I would like to get more active now. Quick update, 6 months later. Computer is running amazingly and I just recently ordered 2 Corsair SP fans which I am installing on the top.

Planning on "decking" out the computer now that I have saved up a large sum of cash. I am also planning on purchasing the second graphics card that I set this thing up to handle.
