NHL Playoffs Betting Thread

[Juannson]

i was suppose to go that game but unfortunately i had hockey, but we had so many injurys this season that it was almost impossible to win anything, when we did have our full team we were amazing

[vudu]

Yeah mine was a bet on the Bruins

Yay!

Guess I spoke too soon. This thread is gonna be a success after all.

Playoffs begin tomorrow. I'm going to start pooling the bets. Feel free to add me up on Steam.

That's awesome! I hope no one was hoping the jets would get to the playoffs that easy their first season back! Next year its all about the avs!

[Fraurrix]

There's a good possibility that the Canucks and the Penguins will be eliminated on Wednesday.

If the Canucks lose game 4, I don't know if they'll be my #1 team next year. It's a shame. I really liked some of their players. I won't miss their fans though. It's just pathetic when they cheer over their own goalie getting pulled. Luongo deserves better.

(Ignore this, I still love the Canucks.)

[Fraurrix]

Oh, and Luongo has played pretty well during the first two playoffs games. I was referring to a regular season game against the Anaheim Ducks.

Sorry, man. Bets had to be placed before the first playoff game.

[Fraurrix]

Current scores:

Eastern Conference
Rangers lead Senators 2-1
Bruins lead Capitals 2-1
Panthers lead Devils 2-1
Flyers leads Panthers 3-0

Western Conference
Kings lead Canucks 3-0
Blues lead Sharks 2-1
Coyotes leads Blackhawks 2-1
Predators lead Red Wings 3-1

Canucks to make comeback tonight with the return of Daniel Sedin.

[Fraurrix]

Canucks were on fire tonight! Daniel being on the ice has really brought balance back.

[Juannson]

you think vancouver was on fire... try Pittsburgh

[Fraurrix]

you think vancouver was on fire... try Pittsburgh

Yeah, that was insane.

[Fraurrix]

The Detroit Red Wings are first to be eliminated.

[Idol]

If I pony up 2 rec instead of the requisite 1, can I still get in on this action? If so, Caps please.

[Fraurrix]

If none of the current betters object to late bets, I'll allow them.

[Fraurrix]

Canucks eliminated. Although I still believe the Canucks are a better team than the Kings. Things probably would have been much different if Daniel Sedin was there for the start of the playoffs.

Now I have to decide if I'm cheering for Ottawa or New Jersey.

[Mr.OneShot]

I'm not going to bet anything but I'm calling the Blues winning
