Blackmesa, the map everyone loves.
Mesa, The map we love.
Mesa...the map we lost.

Mesa is probably the main reason many of use joined, I know I did join because of this glorious map, but now that it is gone many people might leave because they lost the server they loved.

As an effort to bring this server back up, a Dropbox post has been submitted and i'm starting this sign up thread. Sign up here if you want to have mesa back, don't post at all if you are against it.

We won't get mesa in a new server, no, but we do have one server that we don't use much and it is practically empty all of the time and we do not care about it's rank; The Events Server. I think it would be fine to leave as a BlackMesa/Events server and keep the server open with the map set to Blackmesa whenever there are no events, and when the server is needed for an event, just send some announcements in game if people are playing and then switch it to events for the event, when the event is over just switch it back to Blackmesa and everyone's happy. I believe this was used before and i think that if we do it again, people will be happy

Please ONLY sign up on this thread if you support the idea to have a BlackMesa/Events Server.

mesa was the map that made me join I played mesa for 10 minutes before I signed up never have heard of eGO before

This is a good idea, and I support it.

My only issue I see is when the map ends, it will rotate to a different map and someone with RCON will have to get on and change it back to Mesa, unless it can be set to Mesa as the map default.

This is a good idea, and I support it.

My only issue I see is when the map ends, it will rotate to a different map and someone with RCON will have to get on and change it back to Mesa, unless it can be set to Mesa as the map default.

The map rotation list can be changed to only Mesa.

Everyone can support this all day long, but it wont matter because its filling the server and keeping the server filled is what matters. It has not been full and wont stay full...imo, just let it go. Mesa is where almost all of my time on our servers went, and now with that map on a bad server where it lags 24/7, I wont stay there and nor will anyone else. My time can be spent on other servers like a 24/7 turbine server that ive been going to. Valve maps gets boring when everyone makes it feel like a 24/7 dustbowl server and now we have a 24/7 dustbowl server lol...makes no sense, but w/e.
