My graphics card is on its last leg and i need a new one that will hold me over for about 2 months til i can get the money for a gtx 570. Does anyone have any suggestions for a cheap videocard under 100 dollars that will play CSS and Bf3 (mostly CSS)?

Don't forget that eVGA has a Step-Up program, so when you ARE ready to upgrade to the GTX 570 you can go thru that and just pay the difference.

Hrm... looking through their "Available Step-up" cards... the 440 isn't one of them... :-/ So you'd have to go with a different card to take advantage of that.
Also, kinda sucks you have to ship them your card before getting the new one... so there's a period where you're down if you don't have a backup.
The Step-up works with any eligible card purchased new and registered with eVGA.
As for it working with your games... minimum for BF3 is a GeForce 8800, so a 440 should be fine.

Are the cards listed the ones you can step up to as opposed to step up from? Or are they one in the same? Not extremely familiar with the program, though it seems like a nice feature to have.
That 440 is not priced great, though if you can step up from it, then that does not matter since the cost will go to your new card (minus shipping you old card back). You also have shipping and tax on the new card, so yeah.

Now, there is obviously a huge difference between the requirements of css and bf3, so if you are solely talking css, you could easily go even cheaper. But for bf3, you will definitely need a little more horsepower (and this should do to hold you over).
As for support, you really can't lump all ati and all nvidia support into 2 separate categories. You have to look at the actual manufacturers. There, some will obviously be better than others. EVGA is obviously one of the most well respected, but I feel that with enough persistence, you should be able to get support from any of these companies given an actual product defect.

i guess im not going with either, lol. i just bought the 560ti today and it will be here tomorrow. i hope its worth the money.
You'll definitely like the 560 Ti. Hurts your wallet for the price, but it's one of, if not the, best price-for-performance cards on the market. You'll definitely enjoy the fps you can get on BF3 with the card.

560 Ti is defo worth the price for what it provides, and mine can play b3 on ultra graphics.
