Suggestion for orange server.

RTV is an interesting proposition, and the old Orange server toyed with it for a long time. It was nice in that people got to choose maps/move maps when they didn't like it.

However, you also ran into people rocking the vote BACK to a map people just left, or constantly using rock the vote to the point of annoyance. We found that the best bet could be either an end-of-map vote, or simply a solid rotation of maps that are very well liked.

I would agree on a solid rotation,but I would say Hectic needs to be dumped out of it.

how about just an end of map vote with 5 or more maps, never repeating the same map back to back?

or, if rtv would be possible, to have it after a set time, say, 15 min and not allow the previous map?

this is just another idea but maybe have the clan vote on all the maps and the top 5 or 6 are the ones that rotate that way theres no "crappy" map that everyone hates... just an idea

I've always liked rtv, very democratic. Plus in a more full server it's not that easy to get an rtv going, in my very limited experience at least.
