I am currently talking to leadership about possibly increasing the player slotting in office. Currently, a maximum of 40 players are allowed in eGO's office server. If you have not been paying attention to office and how it stands currently, I will catch you up to speed.
Currently office is hovering in the 300's for server ranking, down from 500's two months ago
Office is spending a majority of its time full, and if not full in the high 30's
And a majority of our players are pubs in fact. It is not just eGO members filling the server up to "look" full, office is genuinely full.
More and more pubs from the "other" office servers who are now coming to ours due to its popularity, are commenting on the high level of maturity our server has compared to others and how much more enjoyable our office server is compared to the competition.
Now here is my goal, to bring office to the 100's in server ranking, or even higher. But I'm setting something realistic for now. And I want to achieve that by summer. Now to do so, we need to keep office full and competitive with the higher ranked servers. If you look up the higher ranked office servers, all offer higher slotting than ours. I want to push for more slotting, so more players can enjoy office. And if you have played on other office servers with more than 40 players on, it is not at all different, no element of the game is changed in my opinion.
However, you may think different. You may think pubs are attracted to our servers because we're a little smaller. But I have not heard any of that and the point of this thread is for you to share such opinions from yourself and pubs.
Leadership will be able to see this. And I feel if the want for more slotting is shown, and few objections are heard, it will happen. This is one of the big deciding points right now, we are just unsure weather the players want more slotting. So tell us your thoughts here, and your voice will be heard.
And for those who say this should be drop boxed, it has, dont worry.
I personally want office to be competitive with the competition. I want eGO office to be the best office server out there. Just as we were able to make our dust2 the most popular, we can do the same for office. However it takes commitment, and increasing the slotting. Dust2 didnt used to be always at 52 slotting, but it was required to make the server inclusive vs. exclusive. If players cant get in, players cant help make the server more popular, and eGO more popular and that much more respected of a community. This last paragraph is my opinion, knowing what you know now, post yours.
