"Game disconnected: could not join server."

Anyone else get this annoying error when they try to join a server?

I have yet to get into our eGO servers because of it. I can join some servers, I can join non-PB servers (Joined one).

Campaign mode works. Nothing I could find on the BF3 forums could fix this.

Was hoping someone had this error before and fixed it.

OS: W7 32bit.

Have you tried updating PunkBuster?

Sometimes Battlelog just does this as well, and it adds a whole new level of persistence trying to join a game.

Forgot to mention that.

I went to the PB website and manually downloaded the files and placed them in the BF3 folders where instructed.

There was two that went into the htm folder and then one in the PB folder.

make sure both PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe is running..

if they're not do the following to manually start them

1) click start,run and write services.msc
2) find PnkBstrA.exe and click start service
3) find PnkBstrB.exe and click start service
4) restart battlefield 3 and origin

now it should work, happy gaming

Alright. I'll keep that in mind. I was successfully able to join both servers last night. About to jump on and see if that continues

Don't remember if it was Surfer who mentioned this in Vent, but I've seen it on various forums as well.

Shutting off UPnP on your router should help.

I do have UPnP running on my system though and that isn't causing an issue, just have it off on my router.

Alright. I have disabled UPnP through the router. I'll see if that helps at all.

Sometimes I get lucky and get in, others I have to wait a bit before one bites
