Need some help with steam and there support.

Ok so I recently formatted my computer. I re-installed steam and now it says I need a steam guard verification. I am no longer in contact with my old e-mail and I thought I switched it over but I havent recieved any new info in my new email reguarding any steam guard verification codes? I contacted steam support about 4 days ago and even called corporate offices to see if if things can be done to switch my e-mail to force verify to my new one? What should I do guys? I heard steam support is a waste of time and if you end up needing them your account/money is long gone? What to do guys? I need some major help.

if you bought a steam game or have a cd key that you used on ur account then you can contact steam support providing the cd key with account info and should be able to get it back. ive done it before providing a cd key and got access to my account again

I having a hard time too like two days ago for some reason i couldnt get my Code so i can get on my account but i went threw the setting for spam but for you im not sure maybe trying to get a hold of Steam i was doing the same thing but i couldnt it had a error but i wish you good luck

Yeah I have red faction Armageddon and when I installed that it made me install it through steam. I also purchased TF2 from best buy about 2-3 years ago. So I hope they reply soon. Ive already contacted steam support once and I have gotten any replys. Its been a few days now and Ive tryed calling corporate offices.

Tech talk is for more tech help. I really dont need any tech help. All I really need is some suggestions on what to do to attempt to get a hold of steam support for email stuff.
