Vent Spamming

Hey,

This is Socretez from the BF3 Division and EVE corp. I spend a lot of my time in the vent channels and I come acrossed a fair share of spammers in the wee hours of the morning. Usually by the time I find an advisor or council member that isn't AFK or to busy not caring, the spammer jumps to a new place in the vent to spam.
So, I was wondering what the policy was on eGO members gaining vent channel rights so we can dispose of these spammers. I'm more than willing to go through any courses or classes to gain said rights.

Alot of the time around 2am most people are asleep to help they can be
annoying but all you have to do is mute and ignore them but if that doesnt work
you can go to a Dungeon Defender Room and they have a limit number which is 4 or 6if not just tuff it out & for power to mute or lock a room is for just leadership
and i dont think we are just gonna hand it out for admins

Only leadership gets that privilege. Leadership is advisor and above. Asking to be promoted to leadership (which I understand you are not doing) is a surefire way to make sure it never happens.

Getting ahold of leadership is the only and best way to deal with Vent spammers. If you have contacted a member of leadership who isn't AFK and you feel they ignored or didn't care about the situation, your best bet is to post a complaint in the drop box about it. Provide evidence, such as a PM chat log or a screen shot.

That's your best bet right there, hope that helps. I used to be in Vent with friends late at night long ago and I know your frustration. Just make sure you go through the proper channels. We could always find someone to help when we needed it. Posting more about it here will not only get you in trouble, it will cause the issue which caused you to post in the first place to go ignored.

Correct, I'm not asking about promotions. I just dislike spammers. What I usually do is mute em if they're SUPER annoying or if it's bearable sometimes I just tell them that the music they're blasting is awesome, lower it down to 20% and jive to it.
