Back from Deployment

Hi all. Once again I'm happy to be back on land, and catch up with everyone.

My recent patrol took me to Jakarta, and Christmas Island where I was surprised to find duty free shopping. Christmas Island is home to a detention center which holds a number of asylum seekers entering Australia. Jakarta was the highlight of this trip though. Entering the port was insane as there were huge merchant vessels as far as the eye could see waiting to off load their cargo. The city itself is full of activity.

It's good to be back on home soil though. The below photo is from the day we entered Jakarta
