De_dust2 map error

hey guys i try to enter the de dust2 server and its saying my map does not match the servers map any ideas?

Follow that directory and delete the dust2 map from the folder.

It can not be deleted.

The error can't be any more specific.
You currently have a de_dust2 map that does NOT match the server's de_dust2.

Delete anything in your map folder that says de_dust2.

You can always get the esea map dust 2 and have it over write your old one

If none of those helps you.

Delete all of the de_dust 2 files in your Map Folder.

Find an ESEA server or any other servers that's on dust 2 and join that server to download it.

In Steam > Right Click Counter Strike Source > Local Files Tab > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

It will scan your game to make sure all files are the same (this does not include skins and such).

If this does not work you may have to reinstall Counter Strike Source.

You can't fix the issue by deleting it in your cstrike maps folder and redownloading it, since de_dust2 is a stock map and it's in your cache, not your cstrike folder.

However, you can still fix it by verifying your game cache:

First, open Steam and go to the Counter-Strike Source entry.

Right click the entry in the list and select "Properties".

Go to the "Local Files" tab and click on "Verify integrity of game cache..."

Your game will validate. Once it is complete, you will get a window telling you if all your files were complete/undamaged. You can just close this window and go back to your main Steam window. If any files failed to validate, do not worry, as Steam will automatically download and repair the files in question.

If you still have issues after completing this, you will likely have to reinstall Counter-Strike: Source.
