So as yall may know my computer has been down for a while. I finally was able to save enough money to get it fixed. turns out the only thing wrong with it was the power supply. anyways, i finally booted it up and ended up getting called out to assist in putting out a house fire. when i returned, i found out my GF's son urinated on my tower and she tryed to dry it with her hairdryer... its safe to say that computer is completely gone now. time to save up for a new one -.-
 
That's depressing.

We'll see you when you return. Ya never know what life is gonna decide to throw at you! ;(
 
Maybe by some miracle the urine will morph with the tower to create a biological PC that overclocks the system and it magically turns on

Sorry to hear. The the weirdest reason a tower has died, at least to my record.
 
I would seriously make the parent pay for it. :I Even though that seems like the wrong idea you get back into gaming. Are there any parts you are able to salvage? Like GPU? CPU? Because i mean, WHO WOULD REALLY PISS INTO A COMPUTER? Did the kid think it was a toilet? o_O?
 
When she first told me about it i thought she was joking till i opened up the tower and smelled it... she said she would help me get another one but i wouldnt hold my breath. I was really ticked off so i grabbed my tippman A5 and unloaded on her new 2012 buick lacross then told her to leave.
 
I'm sorry this happened, but how it happened is kind of hilarious.


Months from now you will look back on this and have a chuckle.

Now I dont think kicking her out was the right choice. But I hope you get a new computer soon and dont hold too much of a grudge on it. Its just a computer. Its replaceable. A family torn apart over a silly accident?

Well I really dont think you can replace that.

Well you can assume that he has files on that computer that are of value that most likely cant be saved which would cause sadness also from what i read he didnt seem like he would have gotten to mad at her but maybe was that sad please leave (this is from what i am reading always assume the best)
 
Well he should at least take out the hard drive and the GPU. He should definatly take those to a local PC store and have them tested to see if those can still actually boot/useable. The files that he cant get back are a sad loss. I recently formatted my computer and forgot to transfer over some VERY important files. Like my high school final project. Over 40 pages of Microsoft word pages. Although I did have a back up it still made me mad. But yeah. I just hope he doesnt hold a grudge over it. When you eventually get a new computer I hope all is well.
