Changing Formats

Heya guys, i recently recorded a DOD demo, .dem file. I want to stick it on forums, so i asked around, best answer was to upload it to youtube then copy the link into the forums, thought fair enough!

Till it came to uploading it, they wouldn't accept the vid, due to wrong file, does anyone know how to change it to a file which youtube will accept?

Please urgent!

what you have to do is record a movie in dods which at the smallest is like 1gb for 30min at 90% quality.
I do not know a way of converting demos to like wmv

Get Fraps from fraps.com

Install it.

Go into DoD and play the demo and record it using Fraps.

Go into Windows Movie Maker and import the file that fraps created.

Drag all the pieces it imported down into the timeline (at this point you could edit the movie down, add titles, cut to different scense, effects, etc.) and save the movie at whatever size you want.

I usually keep my movies at around 10-20MB. Any smaller and they look terrible and any bigger and they are too big and no one will download them.
