Just another 'to let you all know about the steam sale' message

is still on steam sale for another 5 hours here, with the price tag of -66% of the original. (I guess I was a little bit late on the message, yeah)
Nuclear Dawn is a first person shooter with elements from games in the style of battlefield and similar objective-based games. While most of the team is playing the game fps, the commander of the team is the eye in the sky, controlling the battlefield RTS-style.
The whole point of the game is basically to secure resource positions and ultimately destroy the other team's base.
Honestly I wasn't interested when it first came out, due to my mind not having capacity to embrace what the outcome of FPS and RTS would be, and my conclusion was that both elements would be destroyed. I was clearly wrong. I'm only a few hours into the game and I can without doubt say that this is one of the more well executed games I've ever played, everything feels smooth and the classes are well balanced and goes well together as a team for different situations. I highly recommend this game even if you missed the steam sale, since while elements of both RTS and FPS are involved, it's refreshing for players wanting to try something completely different to the normal shooter games, and at the same time if you just want to play the regular FPS that you know and love by now, you don't have to get involved with the RTS element at all.
