harddisk and optical drives are not really importand so this is what i post

Holy crap dude. That thing can tear apart my machine with its PS alone. Excellent system, this'd better not be a brag post.

are you doing the triple sli with the 8800 gt's?

intense.

blows my machine away.

are you thinking about overclocking?

not at first overclocking i this new machine is not needit maybe i will do it later :P

You can't do triple SLI with an 8800GT or GTS or any other card,Only the 8800GTX/Ultra or 9800GTX can do triple SLI and judging from benchmarks it ain't worth it.

triple SLi is a worthless feature, im sorry but for games it doesnt add enough frames to make it a worth while investment
but if you do have the money then go for it

then i think i will go for the normal sli with the same cards or if i got the money got the 9800GX2 :)

thx guys almost got a card to mutch :P would have been a pretty wouthless investment :P

[/quote1207644210]Like i said before you can't triple SLI 8800GT's even if you wanted to,i'd just go with one 9800GX2 or an 8800GTX rather than bother with SLI but its down to you mate.

thats what i ment or 2 times the 8800gt or 1 time the 9800gx2 becouse that already are 2 cards put in 1

i will not try to do triple sli becouse the 8800gt ulra is te exspancive for me to put it in tripe i will just take a normal 2 cart sli or 1 time 9800gx2

What i meant was that on the GT cards and the GTS cards there is only one SLI finger whilst the GTX/Ultra cards have two,a triple SLI bridge can only be used on a card that has two SLI fingers per card.

Nice System

Wish i had the $$ for the Quad core
I would recomed raptor drives for faster access time

I think that SLI or CrossfireX at the moment is extremely useless unless the video card is dual-core, because at the moment SLI/Crossfire with two physical units doesn't exactly give 200% performance, more like 120%-140% extra performance, better off getting a single Graphics card like the 9800GTX, 9800GX2, or if you got Vista the Radeon 3870X2 - it nearly doubled in performance from the switch between XP sp2 and Vista sp1, and the power supply well if you don't go for SLI and Crossfire and just heading off to single cards I'd tone it down a bit to save some money for future possibilities with the computer

well, if you still havent gotten the computer, i would suggest, change the motherboard, sli is not really worth it, like everyone else says, since you have the cash get the 9800gx2. also the ram, good god, 300$ for a 4gb ram? you can get some that are $150 now, and they are all brand name that are good. and the processor, where are you looking for your things? hahahaha, a quad 6600 is like $200 range now.

or yea, do you have a good cooling for the computer? cant forget that you know. and also a good case for a good amount of air flow. you can get all of those things for very cheap, and even have money left over. just got to know where to look ;)
