Celebratory bounty on Meep and Gozgallz! Also, fill Mesa!
Edit: Since this has been dead for nearly 2 weeks now and it hasn't been helping get anyone on mesa, this bounty is dead, prizes all null and void. I also want my eyelander back, Ayako. >=(
What's this you ask? A bounty you ask? Yes, yes it is! I've decided to teach goz and meep a lesson. Apparently, they don't know how to fear or respect us demoknights / caberknights / critanaknights. :sneaky2:
So, you ask, what are the rules? You must throw your bodies, shields, and sharp objects at Meep and Gozgallz and dominate them like the bloodeh-heads-full-of-eyeballs they are! Post your screenshots here. You know the whole bit. There is a twist though; YOU MUST DOMINATE AS A DEMOKNIGHT! In fact, there is a whole point system as well!
Points
1 point for every domination as a demoknight!
2 points for every domination as a critanaknight!
5 points for every domination as a caberknight!
Point Multipliers
0.5x multiplier for any domination of any player as a demoknight on cp_blackmesa BECAUSE ITS BACK!
2x multiplier if you manage to get your domination screen with the corpse of your enemy and you taunting in victory!
Prizes
Prizes will be medium value because I'm poor, but here they are! If you happen to be first place, you can choose any of the lower ranked prizes instead of the first place prize. If you are second place, you can choose any of the lower prizes rank prizes as well instead of the second place one, and so on and so on.
First blood gets a Strange Eyelander. This way, you can even count your kills of goz and meep! PRIZE TAKEN BY AYAKO
Contributed by Ezekiel, the first person to taunt kill either one as a demoknight has the choice of a strange katana or a strange bottle.
First Place: The High Five Taunt, the ultimate way to share excitement for decapitating your enemies amongst your fellow demoknights.
Second Place: The Value of Teamwork paint, so you can celebrate your own team colors in a slightly off color.
Third Place: The Pyro's Head Warmer, fresh straight off the corpse of either Meep or Goz! What's that? They don't wear the Head Warmer? Lets ignore that for now!
Fourth Place: A bottle of whiskey to drown your sorrows for not being as good as the top three!
And... a super secret valuable prize for the first person to get above 250 points!
Additional Rules:
Dominations must be done with a MELEE weapon! You cannot use your grenade launcher for the dominating kill, but you can for the first 4 kills. The weapon you dominate with will also determine how many points your screenshot is worth!
What constitutes a demoknight? I think we all know this, but to be clear, you must have an equipped shield (charg'n targe or splendid screen) and any melee weapon.
Points will be recorded here in the OP post. I will do my best to keep track of your spoils. Keep in mind, I am the final say in how much each screenshot is worth.
Contest starts 12:00 midnight central time on Monday, April the 15 and ends on May 15th at 12:00 midnight central time. No dominations prior or afterward will count. If I feel like it, I will extend the deadline another month if this gets enough popularity.
So, my fellow demoknights, charge on to victory, the blood of Goz and Meep, and most importantly, BLACKMESA!
