Server Transfers?

I am still waiting for Bioware to open up server transfers. I have two lvl 50 republic toons sitting on a sith wyrm (dead server). I want to transfer to your guys server. Hopefully someday. It seems a waste to make new toons when i have both of them Battlemaster'd out. Has anyone heard any chatter about server transfers possibly happening?

Bioware says they're working on it, but there's no ETA.

It might be several more months till it becomes available, much less a few months for any word on an ETA. I'd suggest going ahead and start making a new character on the eGO server.

Yeah what he said, Server Merge's are LONG OVERDUE. ha talk about 50 servers all "light" poplations..

A server Merge or transfers is what I am waiting for. I currently play on 2 servers (been away from game for awhile) 1 being eGO and another with RL friends. I expect I will come back eventually but I got kind of bored with the game.

Dallas Dickinson (Senior Producer, Live Services): We will be rolling out our Character Transfer Service in early summer. First we’ll have some targeted free transfers from/to specific servers, but that will be followed with a broader system where you can either take advantage of free promotional transfers to specific servers or paid transfers to the server of your choice. We know everyone has more questions about character transfer, and we’ll reveal more details closer to the launch date.
