capture software?

hello everyone.

my friend (raballer) and i want to start a youtube channel where we post minecraft related videos, but are having trouble finding a good capture software. we've tried camstudio, hypercam, and fraps, but none of these worked well (they would either cut out half of the video, sped up the video, or only recorded 30 seconds).

is there a good (free) dual commentary software that records video and audio well?

In general the good ones are paid, mainly fraps and dxtory. I recommend you purchase a pre paid visa or something and buy one, but if you must go free the xfire video recorder would be worth a shot.

I have found that OVERWOLF works very well. also - for it being a seemless integration of things you'd not normally expect into gaming. It works really well.

video recordings have options such as "shoot to record" where your kill cams are recorded basically. it records a specified amount of time after the "shoot" button is clicked/pressed.

also vocal ques can be used, but thats a beta thing that only some of us get to try.

I'd recommend it

you can choose your vid and screen cap file extension types, which is handy because some take way more space than others.
