[poll] re-open discsuion on realism

Now we have been kindly donated these extra 3 servers whats the point in having another 24/7 donner, i understand it can be used as and overspill why dont we have it on rotation, get custom maps on it and make that server the reasilm server as my poll showed on the last thread, alot more people wanted a realsim server than who where agianst it. and now with kk gone we only have 24/7 maps and one orange server. so i think turn it into dod_customs. i will be wlling to manage that server, i would be on it most of te time and if we do this now it will boost the amount of people coming to ego. i have had alot of people ask me if ego have reailsm and i have said no , i would really like to say yes. pls support this idea a poll on what ou think. yes it is is a good idea or not it isnt. dont say, you agree with people if u feel imtimdated what will happen if you say yes. .

just think this would make the orginaztion cover everyone who plays dod, if people dont like it or it doesnt get the amount of people and i will mangae it, change it back to donner overspill, but trail it first, what is the worst thing that could happen?

we had this discussion a couple of times...and in the end it we wont get a realism server..im happy how it is now....so..no...im against a realism server....

We've had this discussion before. Even with the KK not a part of eGO, all that proves is that eGO as a whole is not neccesairly suited to custom content. Granted, this sort of thing is no longer my decision this time around, but I'll voice my continued disagreement.

Again and again, I continually say no to this. I agree with Spetz, we've had troubles with eGO members accepting custom content.

just voicing my opinion, i like custom content. it keeps ya sharp. i like realism servers.. when im not playing on eGO or the KK server im on 28th infantry division realism server. its pretty awesome i think, riflemen have 2 regular nades instead of rifle-grenades and all players start with 80 hp. Also, I like FF servers... its a WW2 game, friendly fire happens in real wars, why not in the game? friendly fire is my biggest issue with our clan servers. I've never played on clan servers in any FPS game that didnt have FF enabled, and if you ask me, its kinda noobish that we dont use FF. Im assuming the reason none of our servers are FF enabled because its a lot easier to admin the servers this way, and keeps out the noobs/people trying to ruin the game for others. i like options.. and as far as i've seen so far, that extra donner server is always empty. I just wait for donner #1 to open a slot, cuz donner with 2-3 people just isnt fun. and sitting in an empty server hoping people join isnt fun either. just my 2 cents.

I don't understand why we have two donner servers, but I don't think that having a reasilm server to replace it is the answer.
