This is the same thing...So if you use the chat website you are going to the same place. Just you dont use the website to log on.

The website chat will be closing and the irc.gamesurge.net #edgegamers will become our standard for "irc"

Alot of features will be added to the IRC channel which communicates to the game servers directly.

For example, a complaint is made by the pub by using a public menu (which will be released). This complaint automatically gets fed to the IRC chat and webform. If needed, IRC users with access may kick/ban without having to be ingame.

All servers exept for COD4 will have messages sent to the IRC channel whenever there is a complaint, flooder, namechanger, ect.
