That hit the nail on the head. I'm supposed to be guaranteed 4 mb/s down, 0.5 mb/s up, but apparently that means I'll always have something lower than that.

Wow, in my area, Centurylink Guarantees 10mb/s down and 2.5mb/s up.
Comcast gave me 20mb/s down and 5mb/s up.

Do you live in a rural area?

Woohoo! I may not be able to smoothly stream a 480p youtube video, but BF3 is playable (vent is so-so). No time to play really for a few more days, but at least I know I can.
