promod, realism

Well good sir, it depends on what game you are talking about.

You don't make any sence...

But yeah, google is your friend. Also stalking the CoD and DoD forums helps.

Promod is a mode for Call of Duty 4 that is exclusive to the PC version of the game. It is hosted by different communities on their own servers, so it is not an official mode like Headquarters or Domination. Promod is based off the Counterstrike games, and the settings are as similar as possible to Counterstrike.

Different teams may have slightly different rules, but generally, all servers have 75% gravity, allowing players to jump higher. Guns are restricted as well. For example, there can only be two snipers on one team at a time, and snipers must use the bolt action rifles. In Call of Duty 4, these are the M40A3, and the R700. Both shotguns are accepted, and the G36c, MP44, AK47, MP5 and AK74u are all used. No attachments are allowed, and it is at the discretion of the server admin whether camos are allowed or not as well.

and for Realism i have no idea Umm maybe its Realer? if thats a word

oh right, So promod has nothing to do with CSS, right sorry for askin

There is a Source mod that is called CS promod. It is used in some circles. Its goal is to incorporate 1.6 and source into one game.

I don't know if anyone actually plays it, but it seems they have been having regular updates to their system.

There is actually CS:P which is CS: promod which is a mix of CS 1.6 and CS:S. Also there are realism mods for BF2. I think everyone should check out CS:P it is really fun but there arne't many servers because not many people know of it. Also it is a source mod so no need to already have a CS game.

In Call of Duty 4 promod attachments such as the silencer is aloud on most guns.

There used to be a realism skin and texture pack for CS, but I havent seen anything like it for css. I think they stopped updating it when CSS came out.
