Dont be affraid to speak out in vent. You are sometimes faster on the draw throwing out warnings than me and other admins when we are in the same server but sometimes the chatbox isnt what admis/players are looking at when they're are in the muck of it.

A simple, "Hey man I warned this guy and look at the chatbox" will usually do the trick

Unfortunately, I have done that, and even told G/O's that the server was warned multiple times, and it wasn't really resolved.

I'm not trying to attack anyone, I'm just backing up Kosh.

I'm guilty of it sometimes, I'll be honest. Sometimes I let something slide or "do it later" and never remember to do it. From now on, I'll try not to. Somethings are still going to slip under the radar, though.

I'd like to see a similar response from other admins. Yes, I know that many of you often simply hide the chat window, and that's not acceptable/cool.

that moment when you didn't realize you had ur chat window disabled (nvr happened to me) or ur so focused in the game you don't look at the chat (happened to me a couple of times). Finally the moment when you look away at your screen for a minute and miss everything that happened in chat (happened to me but there was another admin that got the man).
Other than that i think most of us (including me) do a pretty good job. The only exception is when other Gs and Os from another division come in and play because sometimes they don't have admin access or they don't know the commands.

Yes, it is very easy to let things slip sometimes. I can imagine that's a problem a lot. Like I wanted to make clear earlier: A lot of you do a great job, even when sometimes things slip.

But what I really want to say is:
Being new to the community, I don't know what the general public feels about admins and the like, so I was nervous that it might be poking at a sore spot that'd open a flame war. Instead, I log in today to see an honest and respectful dialogue opened between admins and non-admins alike. I even saw people whom I have considered good admins admitting to being guilty from time to time, and considering nobody was asking you to do that, it's a strong indication of character.
Frankly, I'm impressed by everyone who's responded. You guys are the reasons I plan on sticking with eGO.

Well I must say ever since I removed my its been much harder to have the admins ACTUALLY ADMIN. I would play a game with about 4-5 different O' on the server, Neither of them do anything. I come into the vent I dont really get anymore help then I did when I asked in chat for some. I always end up falling back on leadership since Almost all of them are the ones I see to be the real big helpers in admining when a E ranked member has some problems.

I would also like to say that the normall members to STEP UP YOUR GAME aswell.

Being an EX admin when I was an E ranked member I would still admin even though I have no control over the server. IF they dont listen then go get a real admin to handle the issue.

Dont just let things slide because your an E member.

I have run into this issue a lot myself and it is very frustrating. Every time I have joined one of our servers I have seen people cussing and being racist and I am surprised that there aren't admins on taking care of it, but then I hit tab and look and there usually are actually a few eGO's on and nothing is said and they aren't being kicked/banned. I usually warn the players I see doing it, but get no backup from the eGO's even after I have given warnings and kick the player if they proceed and come back. I shouldn't have to go fill out a ban request on the website when there are people in the server than can ban them immediately and should be handling it. Unfortunately for reasons still unknown to me I lag like crazy on our servers, so I haven't been playing on them very much. I would very much like to resolve the lag issue so I could be on playing a lot more and maintain admining a lot more to help resolve the issues I've seen running rampant when I am on there. I would just end up admining right now though since I couldn't enjoy playing with the lag and I know that's not what we are aiming for.
