Found an interesting mod

So I was doing my usual daily mod check on FPSBanana. And I found something rare, a new mod for Day of Defeat. It wasn't the usual mod for a game that attempts to make the graphics look better, it is quite the opposite. It is a cartoon mod that claims it changes every single texture in the game to cartoon. The mod is here.

Nice find but I would never use it. TF2 is wack enough with the cartoon graphics.. And the furniture and other textures just look like they are very very low quality. not TF2 cartoon style.


My bad if I'm hatin' but I'll never understand why Valve turned TF into what it is today and I certainly don't want my Dod lookin' like it.

So you put the cfg and materials in the dod folder? On the instructions it says dods, which is wrong.

I find it ironic that developers have put great effort into making games look and feel more realistic and someone has the bright idea to make DoD less realistic. Not only that, people like it

I'd rather have less realistic video games and have better story lines and longer campaigns......6 hour campaigns with a thrown together story line is what this world has come to. All profit.
