So I just got one, pretty dang late if you ask me, they're already rumoring about the 720, and I'm searching for a cheap game (preferably under 30$) and can last you a long while. Any suggestions?

If your into sports last years sports game would be about 10$ and 2 years back can be as low as 1cent. On a different note I've seen Mafia 2 going for 20-30$ which is not that expensive imo

I have Mafia II and What kind of sports games do you mean? CoD4 is a great idea actually, might pick it up.

Black ops is a really nice game online but Yeah just go to a gamestop and go to the 10dollar game area

The earlier Assassin's Creed games are nice and cheap, those are great. Rainbow 6 Vegas or the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter games are on the cheap. Dynasty Warriors 7 and/or DW Gundam 3 are fun and fairly cheap.

And what Irate Donnie said. IF RDR is under $30 it is a must buy.

It really depends what type of games you are looking for.

You could also get the fist Battlefield Bad Company, or BF 1943(arcade game)...since you're in the BF division :P
Turok was a decent game if you like killing dinosaurs. Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena is awesome too,& you get Escape from Butcher Bay with it. You always can get a copy of The Orange Box

Ace combat series, most should be $20 or less by now. Flight combat simulators with epic air to air/ air to ground battles, always had very good graphics for the times they were released

Red Dead Redemption, it should be under $30 by now.

Do this. Also don't buy CoD4, multiplayer has been hacked and there is literally nothing you can do about it:O. Red Dead is worth the money easily and one of the best 360 titles there are (even if its a multi-plat).\

ODST was a good game, don't listen to the hate!

I'm late to the party also, just picked one up @ Xmas!

I only have a couple games for it. Just got through beating deadspace 2 and enjoyed it! 1st one was good too, but think the 2nd one is better.

1st one is @ 20.00 new, 2nd one is right @ 30.00. Can save bout 5.00 if you like pre owned games.

1st two AC's are good. Not really into Brotherhood. Don't have revelations. Definately recommend the 1st two

Didn't like Brotherhood? I liked it but it was very bittersweet for me. It did two things to me that forever changed how I view the series.

1) Multiplayer - It was a brand new fresh idea and it blew me away. I loved the multiplayer. To this day I will say it is the best multi-player experience I have ever had of any game.

However because of it's success it did something else to the series

2) The great multiplayer killed single player. I fell so in love with MP that I ignored the campaign for a long time. Brotherhood's was decent. Yeah it wasn't 1 or 2 but it did enough that I still liked it for the most part...I just didn't get to it for a long time.

Revelations felt stale. I got it for multi-player but ended up not liking the changes they made to it. Then the campaign at that point was boring, dull and didn't feel very creative. The new additions I thought were dumb and for the first time the AC formula just felt played out.

Forgive the tangent, figured I could get away with it since the best games to get have been named.

(PS Topic Relevant don't forget Halo: Anniversary edition! A great and gorgeous remake of the first game! Should be fairly cheap!)

Step one: Buy 1600 ms points
Step two: go to marketplace and purchase GTA:San Andreas
Step three: have fun forever

If not that then i'll list some cheap fun games:
-Dead Island
-Portal 1 and/or 2
-Crackdown 1 and/or 2
-L4D 1 and/or 2
-Halo Wars
-Borderlands 1
-Bioshock 1 and/or 2
-Bully: Scholarship Edition (note: highly fun and can be found for under $10
-Tom Clancy SplinterCell: Conviction
-Fallout 3
-Fallout: New Vegas
-Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit
-Need For Speed: Most Wanted (arguably the best NFS title ever)
-Any other RockStar title out there (RDR, GTA:IV, ect)

Hope this list helps!

Rainbow six Vegas/Vegas 2 are probably around $10 each by now, good if you want an fps that is more challenging than your generic fps
