Yesterday I built my gaming rig and evrything seems to be working but the monitor.So I'm using this motherboard, video card, and monitor.

When I plug in the DVI or VGA cable nothing happens, It just says DVI NO SIGNAL or VGA NO SIGNAL. Any suggestions?

OK so one preliminary question: Has the display ever worked since you completed the build? If so, what has changed since then?

If not try these steps:

1. Gonna sound basic, but very important, check all cables are properly connected.
   
2. Check the VGA and DVI cable ends for any bent pins. If you see any, you may be able to very gingerly use a straightened paperclip to straighten them out. If you got any bent pins, check the video card mating port for marring and the same with the monitor. Honestly, you're better off replacing the cable if it has bent pins even if you straighten them.
   
3. Shut the PC down and reseat the RAM DIMMS and Graphics Card. Make sure the other hardware is properly seated and not cockeyed.
   
4. That mobo has integrated video. Plug the VGA into the VGA port on the mobo and go into the BIOS. This is typically accessed by pressing the "Delete" key when you first power up the PC; about once a second until you see the BIOS screen or hear the 'stop doing that!' beeps. For your particular model is a section "System Agent Configuration". In there is an option for "Initiate Graphics Adapter". Your manual will have additional info.

No I finished the build earlier today and plugged in the monitor but it didn't work so I decided to come here. There we're no bent pins and I plugged everything in correctly. I tried both plugging in the DVI cable into the graphics card and into the mobo but still got NO VGA SIGNAL and NO DVI SIGNAL. Any other suggestions?

Have you tried plugging the monitor with same cables into another, working PC to make sure it shows a picture there?

Ok so no go with the DVI into the mobo or vid card, try a VGA cable into the mobo only. Oh and remove the video card before you do this.

Yeah the monitor works on my laptop. Again NO VGA SIGNAL. It's possible I borked it during build.

I requested you on STEAM. If you are not getting POST beeps there could be something else going on.

So many things come to mind but here is a few...

1. Do as Skagnatti suggested and pull all RAM and video card and put them back in securely. Be sure to verify they are in all the way.

2. If you want to test on board video, pull the video card and boot up with the monitor cable plugged into the on board video port.

3. If you have a PCI video card laying around try that in a PCI slot (different then PCI-E which I assume you are currently using). The idea is to test if the current slot you're using is bad.

It is possible your motherboard was dead on arrival so don't exclude that possibility. Let us know if you have any updates.

Second, there is a way to run a low-level diagnostic on the memory with a toggle button on the mobo, near the DIMM slots. I had him run that after reseating the DIMMS, no video card in it, then with one DIMM in it at a time: still no video and according to the manual if the little LED for the testing stays steady on after pressing and running through its 'tests', not good.

That's exactly what happend. He's gonna be returning the hardware. It's either the board or the DIMMS. The next time he posts, he should be in good shape!
