Two of the biggest games to launch this summer come out on the same day.
Diablo 3

I seriously dont think ill be getting Max Payne 3. The guy doesnt look like the original Max Payne @ all. If anything, its the graphics that will win over the game (like most games now n days). The storyline sounds like 1 from a typical movie of its class, the only difference is that the hero gets drugs in him. Im sure that Diablo 3 will easily outsell Max Payne 3. I also heard that this Max Payne will have multiplayer, which I doubt will compliment the game very much.

Wow - gutsy move releasing any game along with Diablo III. Some suit is going to get a very strongly worded inner-office memo when corporate learns that they are releasing their supposed blockbuster game on the same day as Diablo III.

Yep the console ports will be released on the 15th while PC gamers will need to wait til the end of the month to get their greedy hands on the PC port of MP3.

Unfortunately, I cant be going after Diablo 3 right off the bat til I get myself a job.

Diable 3 definitely agree with Tumblin, no contest.

seeing as how youve never played either of these games series before, i highly recommend that you get the original diablo (no cd was made since it came out before the invention of cd-keys) & either max payne or max payne 2 (the sequel allows for more capabilities than the original). also another great thing bout the max payne series (this will depend upon the 3rd as well) is the fact that you could make unofficial mods for the game (& some of the mods made the game a lot more fun to enjoy).
