What happened to this game?

this game hasn't worked for over 4 months due to well idk why tech support had no idea why but i had to fresh install windows on my pc and now the game works....this game sometimes feels like COD with better graphics, half the servers im playing have like 64 players...but the map is like..for 20 players..its chaos its just spawn die....i spawn with enemies in front of mye..that doesn't really happen in BF series..least it didn't...id expect that from COD

also currently there are only 12 populated US servers...what the hell is with that? there more BFBC2 populated servers.....i am dissapoint...
 
Hang out in eGO servers. Always quite peaceful yet full.

haven't seen one show up on the server list.....i clicked the filter american servers if your even on my list there's no one in it, I don't look at servers with no one in it...I have always had a problem (even searching) for eGO bf servers, I'v had BFBC2 since release and until like 2 weeks ago have never even SEEN an eGO server EVER

Yeah bro you're going to have to get the Back to Karkand expansion to fully experiance the 64 player maps because the other maps are usually not meant for 64 players other than the larger conquests.

Also if you think this is COD, I feel for you man... There's psychologists for you.

why did i compare it to cod? terrible spawns, i spawned getting shot at 5 times...not even on a teammate a normal spawn point and i also spawned behind enemies like about 4 times in one match i spawn and see a guy running by like 10 feet away i also spawned beside an entire squad of the enemy once =/ that crap happens in COD CONSTANTLY.

But yeah i don't have back to karkand personally i don't even feel i should have to pay for it i was pretty sure i preordered and i didn't buy it because this game DIDNT WORK FOR 4 MONTHS and EA/DICE refused to help me and because they couldn't figure it out so they reverted to telling me i pirated the game and that's why it didn't work. despite 4600+ players have reported the same issue on their support site alone. but it is kinda bs that without the expansion their is only like 12 american servers with anyone on them

This is not BF3.

This is not CoD.

This really is BC3.

Just saying, if your gonna gripe that much either one, don't play this game, or two, suck it up and get with the program of spending 15 bucks and favorite all our servers and come play with us. If you are this upset with it I don't understand why you would even play. you might of wasted money, but why are you still stressing over it. That's a waste of energy.

The only thing it's missing is the HQ commander thing they had in the old games. I loved dropping supply crates on snipers.


...Actually, my best role in 2142 and BF2 was doing the commander. I miss those days.

Otherwise yeah, it's BF3. I'm not gonna complain :D
 
Everyone wants to whine and complain about the issues they have, technical or personal, with the game. Why can't we just accept that the game is fun and leave it at that? It's not supposed to be BF2 incarnate, it's an entirely new game 6 years later. Of course it'll be different.

To me, it seems like the general server listing is a bit glitchy. They won't all show up unless you scroll down to the bottom then back up or something like that. It takes a little bit of experimenting, but if you just hit refresh even with no filters, it won't show you very many servers--usually only around 50 or less for me.

Yeah man, you know you're pro when you have a 3.0 k/d ratio as a commander. That role was so incredibly awesome.

Bad matches happen. I've gone like 7/20 before, it's beat, I know. As for the issues to get into the game for four months, the only thing I could tell you is a compatibility issue with either your data or your graphics. I had a top of the line laptop and it wouldn't play BF3, so I bought a 3k dollar computer and it worked perfectly. As for EA? well they suck, no denying that. As for servers... I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that they're only 12 servers populated, considering WE have 4 populated servers (most of the time). Everyone's got B2K in their server so that's why you can't play. It's like trying to play Vanilla WoW right now, you just don't. Fork the 10 bucks over for the best maps ever made.
