Tattoos

I am not sure if I've ever seen a similar thread, or if anyone in eGO has some. My wife (TVicious) and I (Blixx) have a number of them...pretty much all from the same shop. I'm hoping to do my WWII themed one on my back in the next six months, but for now here is my newest edition on my chest. Also one I did on my forearm. Word of advice for anyone thinking about this....center of your chest hurts like hell.

The girl in the tattoo is a traditional Jerry-style rendering of my wife...it was a wedding present in 09' and the artist put her tattoos on the tattoo...pretty sweet.

I've been thinking of getting one done. I was looking at getting a Tribal one done across the back of my shoulders. I know my dad was thinking of getting every division he's served with in the Army to go along with his 49ers tat. I mentioned to him that we should get ours done together, but he gave me a weird look and said some....things:O:lol:

Got it in Brunswick, Melbourne. The guy had done a ton of Sailor Jerry designs in the past. The place is called Third Eye

The letters in the middle of the cross are in greek and say "It is finished". - Final words of Christ on the cross.

1 of 2. Other one is in between my V lines and says "This too shall pass" - One of my fav quotes.

I'm using photoshop to customize some new tattoo ideas I have.. I'm unsure of where to place the next one though.

eh, i'd pass on that tribal tat if i were you. many people look at that as the international sign of a....a thing i can't say on the forums... Lol and i can imagine what your dad said. Mine would probably say the same things haha

But if i ever got one, still don't know if i want one, I might get a small one near my left shoulder or the top of my arm. not sure what exactly i'd get but i'm sure i could figure it out haha

Nah man. Not at all. Anyone that wants to get a tattoo has a reason, one or a few of many possible reasons behind it. The last thing anyone should do is care about others opinions. It's about their desires.

Tribal tattoos are not only extremely popular but also visually appealing on males and females IMO. Sure they can be a bit typical depending on placement and style but that's about it.

I've seen many tribal tattoos that had some decent originality placed with them and they looked mad good.
