Code Blue?

Wow man that's crazy, I was fortunate enough to never have this problem. The high school I went to was small enough and countryfied enough that a majority of the kids there had guns in their vehicles, (shotguns/pistols/rifles), some in rifle racks for all to see. I guess there is one good thing about growing up in a small town where the majority of the population are farmers. It's a crazy thing to see the times change in such a short time, I only graduated in 2006.

We had a chlorine and ammonia bomb brought to school and we got to stand outside for about 5 hours while the fumes cleared.

I mean just the usual bomb threats here, but it was no surprise as I was obviously the one making them.

The only exciting thing we had at school was some kid who threatened to come to school the next day with a gun. So he came to school with a gun, we had a lockdown, and he was arrested. Pretty straightforward.

Lung, when you were dating in high school did you ever run across a problem with an angry dad chasing you out of his house with a 12 gauge screaming and shooting at you? I ask because that happened to my uncle once.

O.o? kids at your school are smart enough to make bombs? Geez the high schools over here only have about 5 that are smart enough to come up with that. thank god they're not insane enough to do so.

I laughed so hard at this haha.

But yeah the only thing bad that we had was an insane kid that threatened to fill the airvents with mustard gas on the last day of school. he instead decided to cut two of my friends necks with a rusty zipper while we were in the gym while the upperclassmen were taking their state tests.

Well onetime in elementary school.. Along time from now... A kid named Josh Buuk brought both a knife and a handgun. It was scaring since kindergartners had to experience that :( but dang the dude kill 2 students and one teacher he went for jail for 20 years ( and hes still there he like 16 now) for bringing a weapon to school and murdered. I almost was next if it weren't for him noticing me since he was my friend he stopped when I calmed him down and he was sorry he just didn't know what he was doing it's like the devil was in side of him. I feel bad for him I hope I get to see him when he gets out. :|

....fight wins

Its called a lockdown at our school. This year a kid brought a handgun to school but it turned out to be non-functional(it was broken).

Chardon High School, which is another suburb of cleveland, had a terrible shooting recently where three kids died and two others sustained serious injuries. Although it did not happen at my school, it certainly shook us up a great deal, because something like that could happen at any school.

Never has this happened to my schools. Only bomb threats. Where the next day dogs had to search the school. I have saved a few people from committing suicide though which I find crazy.

Sooooo hard to control my comments on this thread to any degree let alone a civil one.

Last year some guy robbed a ban across the street and then was hiding in the high school I go to. We were stuck in our classrooms for 3 hours before the police found him. We call it code red or a lockdown.

My school was on lockdown about a year ago for 2-3 hours. A kid from my school who had skipped, shot another kid from the school in the buttocks (no joke) behind a K-mart. The school police believed he was going to come back to the school so it was locked down.

Another situation, not directly about lock downs: A kid from my school was shot on his doorstep by two other kids from my school, because they believed he was going to testify against him in court. He died soon after.

I'm glad your ok sound scary and for me we never really had a locked down but that must of been lame being stucked in the worst class you have i guess what you could of done make a monopoly game and there you wasted 4hour and have half of the class angry at each other.

In Finland we have only had 2 school shootings, in both the kid has shot himself before the police could arest him for murder.
9 people were killed 2007
10 people were killed 2008

All we had was bomb threats and drug busts oh and someone took a crap by a water heater. That is about it.

Thats insane never in any of the schools i went to did we ever have any bomb threats orknife attacks. sheeeeesh whats this world coming to !!!

Anyways hopefully one day when these kids grow up and get out to see the world will they realize that one small action can have a huge effect on others.
