In third grade the boys restroom was closed like every other day because a kid kept taking craps on the floor and walls.

Yep, This has happened to me. There wasa girl at the elementary school that said her brother brought a gun to school,so they had to check it out and it took about and hour and a half.

Sucks and its really boring.

At my old school in Maine, someone held up the gas station across the street with a flair gun (lolwut) Then the proceeded to hold up the bank next door....
They locked down the school for a few hours but not the middle school, which is directly behind the high school.

Here at my new school in Louisiana, I haven't been trough a situation like that or anything described in other posts. But I do know that teachers are instructed to go through the normal lock down procedures, and if it came to it, throw them selves to protect the kids. And if that doesn't work, well the students are left to their own devices.

Well I'll just do my highschool ones because well, My middle school ones involved me and friends...

Don't know if you guys know this but most schools when you guys have big school wide meetings in the auditorium/outside. It's because police are there doing a drug search through all of your lockers with dogs (well at least at my HS). This happens about once or twice a year.
We had a lot of people at my school busted with drugs from this.

Also my freshmen year we had our school catch fire and we were all evacuated from the school for about 5hrs. This went on way past school hours because no one was allowed to leave. Turns out a guy got fed up with our science teach and threw a molitov into the science building with all the gas burners turned on (Did not blow up but the science building and our library burnt down).

Also around my senior year we had a mini riot when two girls got into a huge fight and all of there friends jumped into it. (around 30-40 people I would guess). One of the kids went after one of our on school grounds police and tried to take his gun. Lucky his partner saw him right before he did it and I saw the greatest police tackle in my life. School went on lock down and lunch ended early.
Yeah my school was pretty ghetto... We even had metal detectors at our school and 24/7 police officers (2-4) on school grounds at all time.


Oh I also work(ed) for and help set up DECON training for the National Guard/ Air Force/ Army Reserves.
I won't go into to much details but it is real life scenario training for natural and terrorists disasters

This happened very often at my old school in Maine, and every time someone would get busted. But not here. Sure it might happen, but more often then not kids get busted for having chew (aka chewing tobacco/dip to those younglings out there :lol

And yes Dutch, I did move, back in June of last year.

We didnt have a room big enough for the entire school, and if they did have dogs 50% of our school population would have been kicked out.

Yeah. They held it out at our football field so they could fit all the students at my school. Around 2300.

Only reason I knew they used dogs was that a guy at our school was busted with a bunch of cocaine in his car right after the meeting and there was already about 30 officers when it happened.
